Are you unsure about how exactly you can buy your Boxes? Then you’re in the right place here — this is your one-stop-shop on how to buy.
Before we jump into the guide, keep in mind that both sales are running from February 8th 00:01 UTC to February 9th 23:59 UTC, for 48h total.
Step 1
It’s important you know there are two sales going on right now.
The first sale is for the people who have staked KMC on our platform before. Our stakers have received a guaranteed allocation of Blind Boxes to buy — if this is you, then skip to Step 3 and go here to buy instead.
The second sale is our OPEN FCFS SALE, where everyone can participate. If that’s the sale you’re here for, then keep reading.
Step 2
So you’re here to buy boxes from our open sale — good choice! The first thing you should know is that the sale ONLY accepts USDC (Polygon Network).
To buy in the sale, you will need USDC and also some MATIC to cover the transaction fee: 1 MATIC will be more than enough.
If you don’t have any funds on the Polygon Network and you’re unsure what to do, please read our guide here on how to swap over to Polygon.
Step 3
Do you have some USDC & MATIC in your wallet now, and is it on the Polygon Network? Perfect. You’re ready to buy! Head on over to https://kitsumon.com/buyFCFS to get started.
Step 4
You should be seeing this page:
If you’ve gotten to this point, the rest is easy. Just make sure your wallet is connected and set to the Polygon Network, then enter the amount of Boxes you want to buy, and click “Buy Now”.
Step 5
You will now be prompted with a window from your web-wallet to approve the movement of funds. Once you have approved this, another window should open where you will be doing the actual transaction itself. Carefully review all the information and then approve it. Your purchase is now complete!
Congratulations on your Blind Box/Boxes
You’re now the proud owner of your very own Blind Box/Boxes. But what do the boxes actually do? How does it work? It’s very simple. The boxes themselves aren’t NFTs — instead of receiving an NFT, purchasing a box puts your wallet address on our internal whitelist. From February 10th onwards, we will be enabling a “claiming” feature on our website. This will let you “open” the Blind Box and claim the actual NFT, which is a Kitsumon Egg.
Your Blind Box will contain one of the eggs above that is selected randomly (if you’re curious how they are selected, read here). The egg NFTs you have claimed will now be in your wallet — you can already send them to other wallets, but to trade them on our marketplace you will still need to wait a little bit longer. After the upcoming Public Auction concludes on February 24th, the marketplace will open up for trading.
